Well im on the dark side! Im now officially 3 days into banded life! WOW!!!!
Im still pretty sore so dont want to be sitting here typing for long- sorry fans! haha
But surgery went really really well, the doc said textbook surgery, i'd obviously followed opti to a tee and seen some great results and thats why im feeling so good! So that was awesome to hear!
I didnt have any gas issues, im burping really well, and no pains in the shoulders! I even managed to cook my parents dinner last night, and not be tempted!
So im on liquids for a couple of weeks, so just taking it all slowly and yeh as i said i actually feel pretty good, but a question for other bandsters....do u feel liquids sometimes like gurgling in ur belly? i feel like its bubbling through? and thats why i can burp? is that normal? haha
Other than that, all has gone well, been very mobile, and just getting a bit sore today as far as feeling tight around the wounds, but all good i think! :) sorry i keep saying it i think im just shocked at how well i feel! My brother who was done a year ago is really shocked as well!

You are doing really well. I had no problems after the op either and kept thinking "something" might happen....but it never did! The gurgling is pretty normal by the way....a weird feeling...but kind of nice!

Get used to feeling the food and drink go through your band- totally normal, highly embarrased at times yet slighty amusing....
